I have been involved with fixing and making cars all my life. I started with my dad at the age of 5 in him teaching me, then I was helping him to build Stock cars. This went onto bikes and then auto electrics. As I had no papers at the time I decided to go to college and get them. So seven years later I became a fully qualified mechanic and auto electrician. I then started working for Selly Oak 4x4 dealing with the Land Rover market. I was also racing a 1958 series one Land Rover which I had built with a 2l Pinto coupled up to a series two Land Rover gear box. Next project built a series two V8 Land Rover for the road to have a bit of fun with. For the passed thirteen years I have been working at the Black Country Living Museum on there transport team driving anything from a 1903 Sunbeam car to a 1963 D9 Midland Red bus as well as the bikes. I also have the pleasure of helping to fix and restore them. Being involved in the Reliant Owners Club for years (National Web master and Birmingham Branch Chairman) restoring and fixing them, in 2016 I was invited by Practical Classics Restoration show on stage as there expert in rebuilding a Regal used in the Only Fools and Horses show.
