Yamaha 1000 Thunderace

Rescued as the last owner had dropped the bike smashing the faring down the side and bending all the front cradle out of shape. So a total faring strip was done and then the task of repairing and painting. The colours were changed to totally black faring to show off the delta frame better . The other job to do is make a repair ring for the rear of the can as someone has drilled a row of holes around it. For now a standard can has been sourced and fitted. One thing that had to be replaced not was the tyres as the front tyre was sporting two lovely flats on each side making riding horrible and dangerous. The bike went for its MOT and passed after a slight adjustment (The bolt holding the horn fell out) and is now being enjoyed and ready for the Ireland trip.
